Trustees Proposed Solutions for Church Building Problems

If you missed the special Church Council meeting that was held on Sunday, August 16, you can still have an opportunity to be informed. During the meeting, our Trustees shared important information concerning the status of our building problems (foundation, sewer, etc.) and proposed solutions. The improvements needed are substantial and will require us to borrow funds from the Texas Methodist Foundation. This information will be available to you before and after each Sunday Service on August 23. And, a representative from the Trustees will be there to answer any questions you have. We want the congregation to be fully informed so that we can make the best decision regarding the future of Davis Memorial UMC and the ministry to which God is calling us! Finally, be on the lookout for an announcement for the date and time of our Church Charge Conference where we will be voting on the Trustees proposed solutions.
