Observe Holy Week
March 29 - Palm Sunday
Join us for Palm Sunday Services as we commemorate Jesus Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week. The children of Davis Memorial will lead the "Procession of Palms" at both services.
April 2 - Maundy Thursday - 7 p.m.
Join us for Maundy or Holy Thursday as we commemorate the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. Before the Passover meal, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. By performing this lowly act, Jesus demonstrated how Christians are to love one another through humble service.
April 3 -Good Friday Cross Walk-Gather at 6 p.m.
Jesus challenges us to go out into the world to spread his Word. Jesus walked on Good Friday, will You?
The Cross Walk begins and ends at Davis Memorial United Methodist Church, 5301 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills. Participants will gather at 6 p.m. read scripture and pray before the Good Friday Cross Walk. From the church parking lot they will carry a huge wooden cross and go north on Davis Blvd. stopping at Emerald Hills Way. The participants will cross Davis Blvd. and go south and conclude at the church. People who cannot meet at the church are encouraged to join at any time. At the end of the walk, we will conclude with a Good Friday Service in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. Exercise your Faith with a walk on Good Friday.
April 3 - Good Friday Service - 7 p.m.
Join us for Good Friday Service as we commemorate a day that proclaims God's purpose of loving and redeeming the world through the cross of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
April 4 - Children's Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt - 1:30 p.m.
Join us for our Annual Children's Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt! Everyone is invited! Share this fun filled event by inviting friends, family, neighbors and anyone in the community! We have dozens of eggs to fill, empty eggs are bagged and ready to take them home to fill. Please fill the eggs with toys, prizes and wrapped candies such as starburst, smarties, candies that are individually wrapped. Please no chocolate or peanut butter candy. Pre-filled eggs are also greatly appreciated!
